Great Wetsuits recommended by Sheila T. and Karen McKeachie: If you are considering buying a wetsuit and would like some direction, please trust our advice. You do not need to look any further than Aquaman Wetsuits, and the North American distributor is a fellow Michigander, Emmanuel Millet from Three Rivers. Sheila raced exclusively in Aquaman even though she had offers for great sponsorship dollars from other companies. Sheila knew she would earn far more in prize money with top performances in the best equipment than the dollars up front for wearing a wetsuit other than Aquaman. No other company compares to the flexibility, comfort and quality of Aquaman. You have great choices....you can go with the top of the line product if you are a serious competitor, or you can go with the entry level suit for beginners. Serious competitors should consider buying an entry level wetsuit for training and the Gold-Cell for racing.
The zipper is reversed for a quicker transition and to prevent sudden opening during the swim. The zipper is flexible and it is sewn and glued into the suit to allow the suit to mold to the shape of the back and neck. There is a learning curve to master the zipper, but once you wear one and practice a bit you will master the technique and will never want to wear any other wetsuit.
The neck has no stitching coming in contact with the skin where you could get chafing. The shorter cut of the suit on the arms and legs allows a quick take off of the wetsuit.
The perfect cut of the suit and the flexibility of the neoprene Aquaman uses allows the closest fit possible on the body for the maximum speed.
All in all the best and most comfortable wetsuit on the market. |
