Race Fee Refunds

There are no refunds for athletes who withdraw from an Epic Races event or clinic.

If you notify Epic Races of your intent to withdraw prior to 14 days from race day and you volunteer for that race, you will receive a 50% credit toward the same event the following year. Notifications of withdrawal must be received in writing via e-mail (info at epicraces.com). The 50% credit applies only to the race entry fee; it does not apply to the USAT one day license, park entry fee, on-line registration fee, or any other additional fees/expenses related to participation in the event.

• All clinics are non-refundable.
• Valid credit toward a future event does not guarantee entry into an Epic Races event. Athletes need to register prior to the sell out of the event. Registrations are processed in the order they are received.
• No credit will be issued within 14 days of race day

Event participation and entry fees are NOT-TRANSFERABLE to another person. This is considered fraud by USAT and will result in a possible suspension from USAT and Epic Races events for a period up to two years.

Unprocessed fees - all fees must be processed prior to participation in event. An athlete will be prohibited from participation in an Epic Races event if fees are not processed prior to race start. This includes USAT one day licenses.

USAT Membership: If you are not a current USAT member, you can register online at www.usatriathlon.org or purchase it during online registration.
One-Day USAT Membership: One-day memberships are ONLY valid for the single event for which they were purchased.
USAT Payment: Please note that USAT only accepts cash or checks for the purchase of one-day memberships.

Weather - races are held, rain or shine, unless Epic Races race management determines that conditions are too dangerous. This will be based on a prudent decision made on race weekend by Epic Races management and local law enforcement officials. If the race is canceled due to inclement weather there will be no refunds nor race credits. This position is consistent with USAT recommendations and with the protocol of sharing the risks associated with the sport of triathlon. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, Epic Races reserves the right to alter, cancel or eliminate any/all portions of the race.

Authorization to use your picture and feedback - any pictures captured of you on race weekend may be used by Epic Races for promotional purposes.

Lost & Found/Mailing Race Items: Items left at race venue, event shirts, as well as awards or prizes not claimed during awards ceremony, will not be mailed. Participants may contact Epic Races to pick up items, or if notified at least three days before an upcoming Epic Races event, race management will bring items to that event for pick up.

Rejection of Entries - Management reserves the right to reject a race entry for any reason.
