North Star Reach aims to provide summer camp experience for young hospital patients. Doug Armstrong, a nurse at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, established North Star Reach, a life-changing camp experience for seriously ill children. Here, children with life-threatening illnesses will have a chance to get away and just be kids. And a caring team of camp counselors, health care professionals, and volunteers will encourage them every step of the way.
